Ametztoi’s stuffed mussels are made by stuffing the shells with a good amount of mussel and bechamel sauce batter. The filling for the breaded mussels is cooked following the traditional recipe as in the olden days, using the best fish and seafood from the Bay of Biscay. Once the mussels are stuffed, they are topped with a thin layer of grated bread that is made in our kitchen. This way the product is kept very crunchy when fried.

Pasteurised whole cow MILK, grated bread (WHEAT flour, water, WHEAT gluten, salt, olive oil, yeast, diphosphate rising agent and sodium carbonate, paprika extract colouring), mussels (10%) (MOLLUSC), water, WHEAT flour and WHEAT starch, tomato, preparation for breading (EGG albumin, salt, dextrose, guar gum thickening agent and spices), shallot, hake (FISH), butter (MILK derivative), olive oil, jumbo prawns (jumbo prawns (CRUSTACEAN) and sodium METABISULFITE antioxidant), onion, brandy, piquillo pepper (water, salt, citric acid acidulant, and calciuum chloride stabiliser), salt, sugar, metilcellulose gelifier, corn starch, garlic and cayenne pepper.

FRYER: Remove the product from the package and dip in plenty of oil at 180ºC for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, without overloading the fryer/pan. Let it sit for 1 minute and 30 seconds for the heat to set in.
